Well, it's been another busy couple of weeks here.
I forgot about my Father's Day post, got too busy to do a makeup post, and since we didn't really do anything for the 4th of July, I didn't even bother to decorate.
Shame on me.
But I have been busy doing stuff for myself.
I started INSANITY on Monday. Between that, and the two weeks of squats and planking that I did before, I have already seen some awesome results!
All of my clothes are fitting a little bit looser, I have more energy, and my body is tightening up. Between open surgery (and resulting multiple hospital visits) and having two kids, I have a lot of loose skin and fat, but that is all shrinking a little bit every day.
I am feeling more confident every single day, and I am starting to wear clothes I never really felt comfortable in before.
I am only 5 days in, of course, so I can't really say that I'm getting fantastic results already. It is a 60 day program, after all, but I can definitely say that I am excited about the results I will see as I continue on.
Husband is doing it, as well. He is a full week ahead of me, and he is doing fantastically. He is so passionate about getting fit, he is really a huge inspiration to me.
Here's to us insane people, getting fit and doing it in a healthy way!
